My cakes are always made with the best ingredients I can find.  I use organic flour, real butter and real vanilla because they result in a better tasting cake. I don't skimp or take shortcuts if it will compromise quality.  But vanilla is just the beginning. I offer a very large selection of flavors.  I am always testing or developing new and unique cakes, fillings and icings, so check my choices page for new arrivals. 

My name is Beth Johnson.  I am not a formally trained pastry chef.  I am a stay-at-home mom.  I have spent over a decade finding and perfecting recipes.  I have learned a lot from professionals in the cake business and most importantly, I have spent a lot of time in my kitchen baking cakes.  I love cake.  It is so important to me that a cake be moist, flavorful and just the right texture.  My cakes are never the cheap-tasting excessively sweet mix-cakes that can be found  everywhere.  They are satisfying and memorable. 

I have recently made the difficult decision to stop taking orders that require weekend delivery.  The dynamic of my family at this time requires that I be available to them on Saturdays and Sundays.  This may very well change when my youngest starts school.  Cakes can still be ordered for customer pick-up on Saturday or Sunday.
